The end of October in Estes Park not only means the end of fall but also the end of the sacred and celebrated elk rut. During this time, we heard captivating bugles, watched (from a safe distance) the bulls compete for their harems and celebrated these magestic beasts at the annual Estes Park Elk Fest.
