August in Estes Park is filled with exciting events! Enjoy front-row seats at the Senior Pro Charity Rodeo, aim for a personal best at the Estes Park Half Marathon, and explore the local art scene during the free Art Studio Tour.

Enjoy live music at the annual SnowyGrass Music Festival, held at Stanley Park with with panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains,  close to town in Estes Park. The festival will feature Bluegrass and American music by Colorado and National bands. There will be music workshops and jam circles on the campground. The Estes Park Jazz Fest offers free live jazz performances at Performance Park from local bands, with donations benefiting Estes Park High School band students.

Join the annual Estes Park Wine Festival for wine tastings, food, and live music. This 21+ event includes a wine glass and tote.

Explore Estes Park Art Studio Tour with over 20 local art studios, showcasing diverse mediums and techniques. For First Friday Art Groove take a free tour of local galleries, with food, refreshments, and live music at various locations. features renowned artists who paint en plein air in the Estes Valley. Join the free Labor Day Arts & Crafts Festival at Bond Park, featuring over 100 booths with handcrafted goods from local artisans. Enjoy Estes Valley Plein Air, well-known artists from all over the country converge on Estes Park to paint en plein air (a French term meaning "in open air") in Rocky Mountain National Park and within 50 miles of the Estes Valley. Special events in conjunction with EVPA include a poster/postcard and wine label contest, a nocturne paint-out opportunity, a miniature contest, and a Quick Paint at Riverside Plaza in which artists have a limited amount of time to complete paintings that are then auctioned to the public.

Experience the thrilling Senior Pro Charity Rodeo action with events like Calvesroping and Bull Riding, supporting local charities such as Meals on Wheels and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Check out the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon & 5K This is a challenging but scenic run just outside Rocky Mountain National Park. It starts and ends by Lake Estes in historic Estes Park, Colorado, which means it has some killer mountain views!
