Loveland Opera Theatre Live at Performance Park

Loveland Opera Theatre presents some of the stars of its upcoming production of The Ballad of Baby Doe in a concert of favorite songs of the Broadway Stage. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and a picnic basket, and enjoy this free outdoor concert.

4th of July Fireworks Display

The Fireworks Show starts around 9 p.m. over Lake Estes. You won't want to miss one of Colorado's most glorious fireworks displays! Find a grassy spot at Stanley Park, along the Lake Estes Trail or on your favorite mountainside to join in this annual tradition of national pride.

The Big Bang! Concert on the 4th

Catch the fireworks over Lake Estes while enjoying beer, wine, food and live music from Face Vocal Band! The Big Bang Concert takes place at the Grandstands with covered seating.

The Estes Park Village Band presents a free concert at Performance Park at 7 p.m on the Fourth of July. Traditional patriotic songs with local musicians and singers. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and a picnic basket, and enjoy this free outdoor concert.

4th of July Celebration & Car Show at the American Legion

Kick off the 4th of July at the American Legion! Enjoy food, fun and music starting at 9 a.m. and the Car Show beginning at 10 a.m. Catch live music by Random & True at 3 p.m., followed by Mountain Town Rockers at 6 p.m. Admission includes all-day food, fun and music! Including a fabulous lake view of the firework show!

The 8th Annual SnowyGrass Music Festival will be held at Stanley Park (380 Community Drive). Rocky Mountain Half Marathon and 5K

This is a challenging but scenic run just outside Rocky Mountain National Park. It starts and ends by at the fairgrounds by Lake Estes. With the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon, 5K and Elk Double (Half Marathon + 5K) you can choose your own adventure!

Estes Park Studio Tour

July 29-30

The 7th annual Studio Tour in Estes Park invites neighbors, friends, tourists, the creative curious, shoppers and talkers (who love to learn) into the studios of professional artists living in Estes. Eighteen local artists all within a 10-mile radius will open their home studios to demonstrate their fine art and craft process. This is a free event for the whole family, happening 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. both days.

Historic Fall River Hydroplant Tours

Weekly, Wednesday through Saturday

The Historic Fall River Hydroplant plant was constructed in 1909 to produce electricity for the Stanley Hotel and surrounding areas. Later, F.O. Stanley sold the plant to the Public Service Company of Colorado. In 1945, the Town of Estes Park purchased and maintained the Hydroplant until it was severely damaged in 1982 by the Lawn Lake Flood. Operating as an interpretive site since 2002, the Hydroplant will be open Wednesday – Saturday, 1-4 p.m., May 31 through September 2, 2023.
