Every Kid in a Park


In 2015 President Obama unveiled a new program designed to get more kids into nature and experiencing our national parks. the Every Kid in a Park program offers a free national parks pass to every 4th-grade student in the U.S.!every-kid-on-park-pass-estes-park

Vouchers have been distributed at many schools and paper passes are available online. Vouchers can be taken to any national park or participating site entrance and exchanged for the official pass. This pass will be good for the family to enter any and all NPS sites for the school year and summer following the 4th grade (through August 31st).

Free Gift for 4th-Graders from Estes Park

Estes Park wanted to help 4th graders get excited about getting their very special national park pass, so we are offering a special Estes Park backpack to all fourth graders! This pack is filled with fun goodies from Estes Park businesses and organizations and is 4th-grade-estes-park-backpackavailable at the Estes Park Visitor Center at 500 Big Thompson Avenue in town near Lake Estes.

Bring in either your completed Every Kid in a Park Voucher or show your special Every Kid in a Park Pass to receive your goodies. There is a limit of one bag per pass or voucher, but we do have cool elk stickers for the other kiddos in your clan. Backpacks and stickers are available as supplies last, so don't delay!
