Aspens turn to a golden hue. The sounds of elk bugles reverberate throughout the air. It's a perfect season for one of Estes Park's late-autumn traditions when a series of bands herald Autumn Gold – a festival of beer, brats and bands.
At Autumn Gold Festival, held in downtown Estes Park's Bond Park (170 MacGregor Ave), you can enjoy a freshly grilled brat with all the fixins plus a cold beer (or a glass of wine) while listening to 5 award-winning, Front Range (and globally-acclaimed) bands.
Start making plans, and book your accommodations now. This particular weekend is a FREE DAY in Rocky Mountain National Park, and we are expecting many wonderful visitors!
Meander through our Classic Car Show and experience the history behind these classic cars. Meet the owners, then vote for your favorite car in "The Peoples' Choice" awards. A trophy will be presented on Saturday AND Sunday. This year's trophies have been designed especially for the Autumn Gold Festival Classic Car Show. Each trophy is a one-of-a-kind! Check out our "CAR SHOW" page for more information.
In addition to face painting and various lawn games, The Estes Valley Community Center will provide high-energy youth activities. The Boy Scouts of America (Troop 8) will also join the fun by providing thousands of Legos for families to build Lego-race cars. Many race tracks will be furnished for race time!
