Ranger-led Snowshoe Walks

Weekly from January-March

Join a ranger-led snowshoe walk to explore Rocky Mountain National Park during winter! First, a ranger will demonstrate how to put on snowshoes and move safely on the snow. Once basic techniques are covered, the group will head out into the snow and the adventure begins! Snowshoe walks travel through hilly, uneven, snow-covered meadows or mixed conifer forests within Rocky Mountain National Park and are offered on both the east and west sides of the park. First Friday Art Groove

Take a free tour of local art galleries! Various locations will be serving food & refreshments and hosting artist meet & greets, demonstrations, show opening and live music. Ride the free Estes Park Trolley to keep you warm between galleries. Check it out.

A Rocky Mountain favorite for over two decades, Frozen Dead Guy Days is BACK in Estes Park on St. Patrick's Day weekend with even more chills and thrills! Picture this: live music and entertainment heating up the Estes Park Events Complex and The Stanley Hotel, with satellite events sprinkled all over town. And here's the icy cherry on top – the grand opening of the International Cryonics Museum, the cool new home of the festival's muse, Grandpa Bredo Morstøl. The Frozen Dead Guy Days Polar Plunge is back! This signature festival event is now 100% benefiting the Estes Nonprofit Network, so grab your teams, costumes, and snorkels and plunge for a great cause. $10 per Polar Plunge jumper if purchased in advance; Day of registrations available at Coffee on the Rocks from 10:30-11:30 a.m. for $15. Viewing (and cheering!) is free.
