Pride in the Park

June 15

Pride in the Park on June 15th, 2024, is a family-friendly event with a fun Love Boat theme, featuring guest speakers, live music, and resource tables for community support. Starting at noon at the Bull Pin, attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including a vibrant Rockout Workout and the Pride Port Punch Card pub crawl, which encourages visits to local businesses that support the LGBTQ+ community. Dress in your brightest cruise, beach, or luau attire and join us for a day of celebration, unity, and fun for all ages.

Run beautiful Lake Estes while supporting childcare and family services in Estes Park! Challenge yourself to Estes Park's Backyard Ultra, a form of ultramarathon race, where runners must complete 4.33 miles (slightly more than the typical 4.167 miles) in less than one hour, every hour until only one runner remains to complete a lap. You'll gain 150 feet per yard on this paved bike trail route.

Check out the Estes Valley Farmers Market every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Farmers Market days, the Visitor Center parking lot will be closed to all vehicles except transit buses, those with valid ADA credentials and those looking to quickly drop off or pick up market products. Historic Fall River Hydroplant Tours

Weekly, Wednesday through Saturday

The Historic Fall River Hydroplant plant was constructed in 1909 to produce electricity for the Stanley Hotel and surrounding areas. Later, F.O. Stanley sold the plant to the Public Service Company of Colorado. In 1945, the Town of Estes Park purchased and maintained the Hydroplant until it was severely damaged in 1982 by the Lawn Lake Flood.
