The holidays in Estes Park kick off with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! Join us for festive live music, Santa photo ops, holiday crafting, horse-drawn wagon rides, hot chocolate and more. Stick around for the official lighting at 5:30 p.m. All activities are free of charge. The annual Catch the Glow Parade will brighten Estes Park at 5:30 p.m. the day after Thanksgiving. Each year, as many as 20,000 people line Elkhorn Avenue to watch more than 40 custom floats, marching bands, fire trucks and other specialty vehicles make their way through downtown Estes Park. Old Saint Nick himself will make an appearance and bring generous amounts of joy and excitement to all. Estes Park Quota Festival of Trees Kick-off, where you can enjoy hot cocoa and homemade cookies and visit with Santa while you browse the Festival of Trees at The Estes Park Resort! Purchase chances to win your favorite tree. Trees will be displayed until mid-December, when the drawing will be held.
The Rocky Mountain Craft Spirits Festival is a celebration of Colorado’s craft distilleries. Sample from more than 40 distilleries, enjoy complimentary craft spirits education, and relax in chic speakeasy lounges featuring your favorite local drinks. Explore unique vendors and savor bites from local food trucks. Don’t forget to take home a bottle (or two) of your favorite spirit to enjoy later!
