Signature Holiday Events in Estes Park

The Catch the Glow Parade on November 28 kicks off the season in true small-town style. Thousands line Elkhorn Avenue at 5:30 p.m. to watch glowing floats, marching bands, and holiday characters light up the night. This free, family-friendly parade has become a hallmark of Christmas in Estes Park.

On November 29, the Holiday Wine Festival invites guests to sip and celebrate Colorado wines. This ticketed event pairs tastings with festive cheer and is the perfect way to unwind after parade night.

New this year, Sleigh the Games (December 12–14) brings a weekend-long holiday festival to Estes Park. From playful winter competitions to live entertainment and family fun, this ticketed event is designed to create unforgettable holiday memories. Wrapping up the festival on December 14 is the Sweet Stroll Finale, back by popular demand. Visitors can pick up a punch card in Bond Park and wander through candy shops, chocolatiers, and bakeries for complimentary treats, turning the stroll into a sweet ending to the weekend.
