Tours cater to the riders’ interests and, increasingly, focus on Rocky Mountain National Park-area ecology and man’s impact on the earth.

Bruce Davies, a long-time naturalist, historian, and Colorado native, founded Tour Estes Park over a decade ago. With his vast knowledge of the area and passion for sharing the beauty of the region, Davies offers a range of tours that cater to different interests. From wildlife watching to ecology to exploring the history of women, indigenous peoples and homesteading in Estes Park, he tailors each tour to the specific desires of his guests. And now, his guests can enjoy them from the comfort of an all-electric vehicle.

What sets Tour Estes Park apart for like-minded travelers is the depth of his knowledge and his enthusiasm for ecology and history. Giving the tours in an all-electric vehicle provides them with an authentic experience and allows Davies to do what he loves with minimal impact on the environment. “Offering tours in an electric vehicle was my way of taking action,” he said. “I put my money where my mouth is.”

Davies draws inspiration from environmental pioneers like Enos Mills and John Muir, who advocated to conserve natural lands for future generations. After reading a book by Mills at age 16, he adopted this philosophy. "I think it is up to each of us to have that same feeling toward future generations. They were thinking of us. National parks were created for future generations,” said Davies. “But now it is more than that. It's the planet. And we can do it. We've already overcome major problems."

He is excited to take this next step to share Estes Park with his guests in a more sustainable way. “The people make it wonderful,” Davies finishes. “My joy is vicarious. I get to live their experience” of the beauty and wonder of Estes Park.
