Lake Estes Trail, Town of Estes Park
Despite its name, the Lake Estes Trail is a 3.75-mile paved path that surrounds Lake Estes. Access the trail from the Estes Park Riverwalk Parking Garage (691 N. St. Vrain Ave.) and head east on the connecting path toward the Matthews-Reeser Bird Sanctuary. After a short distance, the lake will be on your right and after not too much longer, the incredible mountain views Estes is known for will open up behind you. And it’s a great place to watch wildlife.
