Classic Car Games

Important note: Drivers, your only job is to keep your eyes on the road!
Let your passengers handle the alphabet hunting while you steer the ship safely toward adventure.

The Alphabet Game:
Ready to put those eagle eyes to the test? The Alphabet Game is a road trip classic that’s been distracting backseat siblings since the dawn of interstates. Here’s how it works: starting with the letter A, each player scans the roadside for signs, stores, or anything at all that starts with that letter. Airplane in the sky? Boom—A. Burger King drive-thru? B's in the bag. Keep going all the way to Z (good luck with that one—zebras are rare in Colorado).
No screens, no apps, just good old-fashioned fun and a little friendly competition. It’s the perfect way to pass the time, spark some laughs, and maybe even settle once and for all who has the sharpest eyes in the car.

20 Questions:
Think you're a mind reader? Time to prove it. In this classic guessing game, one person silently picks something—it could be anything from a celebrity to a spatula to a mountain goat. (Yes, really.) The rest of the crew takes turns asking yes or no questions to narrow it down: "Does it make noise?" "Is it something you’d find in the fridge?" "Would Dad be afraid of it?"
You've got 20 questions to crack the case. Once they’re up, everyone gets one final guess before the big reveal. Then it’s someone else’s turn to stump the group.
It’s simple, screen-free, and surprisingly competitive. Plus, it turns out “Is it a toaster?” is a valid guess way more often than you’d think.

I Went on a Picnic…
Time to put your memory (and your alphabet skills) to the test! One person kicks things off with: “I went on a picnic and I brought…” followed by something that starts with A—like apples. The next person repeats the phrase, remembers the apples, and adds something that starts with B: “I went on a picnic and I brought apples and brownies.” Then comes C, D, and all the way to Z (if your memory holds up).
Forgot what someone brought? You’re out—or make up a new picnic rule and keep going! Some families switch it up with: “I went to the store and I bought…” instead. Either way, you’re in for some hilarious combinations and a surprising brain workout.

Would You Rather?
Ready to stir up some laughs and a little friendly debate? Would You Rather is the ultimate road trip game for both kids and adults who love a good (and totally ridiculous) choice. Here’s how it works: someone throws out a question with two wild options, and everyone in the car has to pick one—no backing out, no “neither” allowed!
Would you rather only be able to hop like a kangaroo for a whole day, or have to wear socks on your hands for a week? Tough call. How about this one: would you rather eat spaghetti with chocolate sauce or pancakes with ketchup? Gross, but hilarious.
There’s no scorekeeping, no winners or losers—just funny answers, surprising opinions, and lots of laughs. It’s the perfect way to kill time between pit stops and keep the whole car buzzing with chatter. Buckle up and let the weird questions roll!
