Aspen & Evergreen Gallery will host a Dead of Winter Art Exhibition and Awards Reception on Friday, March 27th, 2026 from 6–8 PM at the gallery, located at 356 E Elkhorn Ave. This celebratory evening highlights artist creations inspired by the playful, strange, and delightfully macabre spirit of Frozen Dead Guy Days and coincides with the Frozen Dead Guy Pub Crawl happening in town. Artists, locals, and visitors are invited to gather in the gallery for a relaxed mixer with wine and light snacks while enjoying the exhibition. Based on submitted works, the Gallery will present a variety of awards including Best in Show, Most Frozen Dead Guy, Cold, Dead and Beautiful, Best Use of Dark Humor, Best Weird / Most Unexpected, Honorable Mention, and a People’s Choice Award selected by guests. The event is designed to be a fun, community-focused evening that blends art, creativity, and a touch of wintertime weirdness.
