Estes Park Unveils Enchanting "Catch the Glow Holiday Season"
This charming mountain town embraces the holiday season with seven weeks packed full of festive fun.
Estes Park, CO – Prepare to be dazzled by a winter wonderland like no other as Estes Park unveils its grandest holiday celebration yet with "Catch the Glow Holiday Season,” taking place November 18, 2023 through January 1, 2024. Twinkling lights, snowy scenes, and the charm of a festive main street set the stage for a season filled with enchantment, with weekly entertainment including an appearance from Hallmark movie star Nikki DeLoach, a Frosty Beer Fest and a Sweets Stroll through Estes Park’s old-fashioned candy shops.
In the spirit of the beloved annual "Catch the Glow Parade," Estes Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland complete with larger-than-life light displays and photo ops, joyous events, and sparkling decorations adorning every corner of town. Nestled in the heart of downtown Estes Park, Bond Park will serve as the radiant centerpiece of holiday cheer, reminiscent of a scene from a snow globe. The festivities commence with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 18, kicking off seven weeks of holiday magic in Bond Park.
Plus, the whole community is getting involved as they decorate their storefronts and provide an abundance of holiday-themed offerings like a Marshmallows Melt Massage at Qi Lounge Wellness Spa and the Old Fashioned five-night Christmas package at Castle Mountain Lodge.
Here's a glimpse of the holiday wonders that await:
Glow in the Park (November 18 through January 1) – Estes Park will be adorned with glowing lights at every street corner. In Bond Park, a magnificent LED-lit Christmas tree will be the star, featuring a captivating light and music show every 30 minutes. Frosty Beer Fest (December 9) – Enjoy a day of ice-cold beer and live music with performances by popular regional and local bands including Chain Station and Stepmother Nature. Dance the day away while sipping a variety of delicious local brews. Embrace the holiday spirit by participating in the Ugly Christmas Sweater Fashion Show, and bring your competitive spirit for a Frozen-Dead-Guy-Days-themed ice cream eating contest.
Catch the Glow Sweets Stroll (December 16) – Estes Park transforms into a candy land, offering delectable sweet treats from locally-owned bakeries, candy shops, ice cream parlors, chocolatiers and more as you stroll down the whimsical main street. This free event includes a punch card for 10 sweet treats along the trail, with a sweet surprise awaiting those who gather all 10 punches. Dance off your sugar rush at The Stanley Hotel for a special concert from the retro Rock & Roll group, Flash Cadillac performing on December 15 and 16.
