Estes Park named Top Trending Destination in Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards, grew in popularity on platform
Estes Park ranked number 7 in Tripadvisor’s 2021 Travelers’ Choice Awards, which are based on the quality and quantity of user reviews and ratings on the platform in a 12-month period. But that is not what makes this designation special.
The trending destinations category of the Travelers’ Choice Awards honors destinations “that showed the greatest year-over-year increase in positive Tripadvisor traveler reviews and ratings for accommodations, restaurants and things to do. These places actually grew in popularity throughout the pandemic” said Kristen Bonner, Destination Marketing Manager at Tripadvisor.
“2020 was undoubtedly one of the most difficult years since the floods of 2013 but despite that, and despite the fires, Estes Park delivered. As a community we dug in and made it work – not only did we make it work, but we got creative while adapting to the situation. And our guests noticed,” said Abi Huebner, Interim CEO of Visit Estes Park. “We are incredibly fortunate to have wide open spaces surrounding us so that visitors felt comfortable visiting us, but that is not what earned us this recognition. It was the overall guest experience that earned us this recognition.”
