The Redington Shores area is simply wonderful and located just 30 minutes from Tampa. The area is relaxed and the beaches are incredible. Once I visited this area, I didn't go back to any of the other beach areas in Florida that I had visited for years . . . this was so much more comfortable, quiet and relaxing . . . yet, restaurants, stores and nightlife less than 5 minutes away. Our condo is right on the beautiful white quartz sandy beach. The ocean varies between turquoise blue and green most days and gentle waves are great for all ages playing in the ocean. The sunsets are spectacular and can be enjoyed from the condo balcony or while walking along the beach.
All of our homes are on the river in Estes Park and less than 2 miles to Rocky Mountain National Park and less than that to a grocery store and shopping. Relax by the river while reading a good book and being mesmerized by the spectacular beauty of the mountains and the sounds of the river. Sit and enjoy the river while fishing to your heart's content. Soak in the hot tub after hiking or snowshoeing while watching and listening to the river. Enjoy a soothing, peaceful steam shower anytime you desire. Relax with your morning cup of coffee taking in all the beauty. Enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets behind the mountains while cooking those fresh caught fish on the grill.
Sedona, Arizona
What is more beautiful than the red-rock mountains of Sedona? Immerse yourself in the Sedona Energy and the Amazing Red Rock Views. A super quiet peaceful location that is only 5 minutes from shopping and restaurants. Walk out the front door and in 5 minutes you are hiking in the woods and in 10 minutes you have your choice of the Brins Mesa Trail or the Jordan Trail or the Jim Thompson Trail. While the athletic vacationers are out hiking, the relaxing vacationers can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine (or both!), while taking in the beautiful red rock views from the lounge chairs on the back patio. Relax for hours on the patio in the Sleeper Swing, 2 Person Hammock or Lounge Chairs. As the day winds down, cook a yummy meal on the gas grill then unwind in the hot tub while taking in the red rock views or the stars above. Gather around the outdoor fire pit at night and see how many constellations you can recognize.
When I first visited Port Aransas I knew that there was no place else like "Port A" . . . those who have been to Port A know that it is the best-kept secret in Texas. Port A is on North Padre Island just 20 minutes from Corpus Christi. Our condo is located at Island Retreat which is a family-friendly beachfront resort. Our beachfront condo has great ocean views and the relaxing sounds of the ocean waves. Two Swimming Pools, Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Playground with Swingset, Volleyball, Basketball, Shuffleboard, Fish House, and Charcoal Grills are just some of the amenities Island Retreat offers.
