The Estes Arts District Presents… FIRST FRIDAY! Art Groove & Hospitality Drop Stops 
Join us on Friday, June 7th starting at 5pm to enjoy gallery socials thru the village. Your local galleries have acquired new artwork for the summer season. Come see what’s new. There are a variety of happenings such as live music, tasty snacks, art demos, show openings and artists to chat with about their work. Bring a friend or come and meet some new friends and perhaps find a delightful piece of art to take home with you.

Collect gallery marks on a Groovy Gallery Travel Card for a chance to win 4 VIP wristbands for the June 25th Friends of Folk Festival. VIP wrist bands offer Free Food, Free Drinks & Free Festival swag.
How to enter drawing:
1. Get a Groovy Gallery travel card. 2. Get a minimum of 4 different gallery signatures. 3. Add your contact information. 4. Turn in your signed travel card. 5. Done!

2 Show Openings:
“The Language of Weaving” show features Estes Park fiber artist Chris Switzer, basketry artist Linda Lugenbill of Colorado Springs, and weaver and tapestry artist David Johnson of Thornton, Colorado. 
“FACE of Fiber in the Rockies 2019” is an invitational-juried show of fiber by artists from all over the country.  These participating artists were nominated by fellow fibers artists for their excellent quality and creative approach to textile art.  Some of the artists are new to fiber while others have worked many years refining their skills.  These artists portray the best in the fiber world today. The “Winners Circle” highlights some of the award winning artists from FACE 2018.  Join the celebratory reception from 5:00-8:00PM, with an awards ceremony at 7:00PM.  We welcome you to join us for this event which is free and open to the public.
