Combined Art Show with Father/Daughter Duo

November 1-8

Sandy Fritz followed her father Bill’s footsteps in becoming a talented artist. Now, Estes Park locals Bill and Sandy Fritz are having a combined show at the Art Center of Estes Park. Oil and acrylic paintings along with collaborations between the two are on display. More info here.


BRUCEFEST! Thrilling Horror film experience at the Stanley Hotel

Horror film fanatics do not want to miss this. Bruce Campbell, of Evil Dead fame, brings to Estes Park a multi-night horror film festival. The three day event showcases screenings of Evil Dead with Bruce Campbell himself as he delivers live commentary and answers fan questions. The frightening weekend also includes horror film exhibits, photo-ops, scavenger hunts, competitions, prizes and even a murder-mystery dinner with Bruce. More info can be found here. More info here.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

November 20

Festive live music from Cowboy Brad, meet Santa and take photos with Holiday Characters. Kids can enjoy holiday craft kits, pet & pictures with llamas, horse drawn wagon rides, and free hot chocolate and cookies. Mayor Wendy Koenig will flip the tree lighting switch at 5:30 p.m. All activities are free of charge. YMCA of the Rockies Turkey Trot 5K

This 5K race starts and ends at the Sweet Memorial Building. Swing by the Sweet building to track the leaderboard and pick up winner prizes. More info here.

The Enchanting “Catch the Glow” Parade Returns to Elkhorn Ave

This annual event cruises back to main street this year as upwards of 40 custom floats, marching bands and special vehicles make their way down Elkhorn Ave in the Heart of Estes Park.
