Estes Park Skijor is a thrilling contest in which skiers are towed at high speeds by a horse and rider team, navigating a challenging course that features gates, jumps, and various obstacles. It's an event that uniquely blends Colorado's rich skiing tradition with its cowboy heritage, showcasing the best aspects of both worlds. Throughout the weekend, participants compete for cash rewards and prizes. Take a free tour of local art galleries at the First Friday Art Groove! Various locations will serve food and refreshments and host artist meet-and-greets, demonstrations, show openings and live music. Ride the free Estes Park Trolley to keep you warm between galleries.

Kick off the weekend with live music at Twisted Griffin on Thursday and Friday, followed by a 5-course dinner created by celebrity Celtic chef Eric McBride and whiskey tastings by Hogback Distillery on Saturday.
