Beginning Crochet with Tonya– Peaks & Valleys Scarf - REGISTER BY 1/20/2023!

Learn the basics of crochet and create a beautiful scarf to wear or give as a gift.

• In the first class, you will see and touch examples of various crochet projects to get a feel for the incredible variety of things you can make with this fun and stress-relieving hobby that people of all ages enjoy. You will also learn two basic stitches that are the foundation of all crochet and practice on some scrap yarn.
• In the second class, you will begin working on your Peaks & Valleys Scarf. All materials are provided: yarn, crochet hook, yarn needle.
• In the remaining classes, you will continue working on your scarf and learn how to join yarn, weave in ends, and block a finished crochet project.
• You will also work on this project on your own between classes. At the end of the last class, we will celebrate our success with a scarf parade and a group photo!
