Come make a Beautiful Batik Tapestry with us at this fun & fascinating class! Batik is a form of resist painting where you draw in your designs using melted wax, then paint the fabric with vibrant colorful dyes. In this fun introductory class, you will learn some basic techniques and effects while working with the traditional tools of this unique art medium. You will be able to take your finished tapestry with you at the end of the class.
All materials and tools are provided. Participants must be 12 and older. We do ask for a pre-booking on this class so that we can prep materials (the wax can take an hour to melt)
