Macdonald Book Shop is hosting Thaine Norris, a local Estes Park Resident, and founder of Walking Together Press. His press publishes Princess and Curdie and Princess and the Goblin, two George Macdonald books published in the 1880s. These two books are the inspiration behind The Chronicles of Naria and The Lord of the Rings. Both books have a Christian message within that helps children understand the Kingdom of God. Thaine hired an illustrator to add to the content of both books offering a slightly graphic novel feel to the covers.

Join us for an evening with Thaine to learn about Walking Together Press, his mission behind the press, and about the publishing process. Children of all ages are welcome to attend this free Estes Park, Colorado event. Thaine will bring some coloring pages for before and after his talk. We currently sell both books and will have plenty of copies on hand during the event.
