Bring your family out to experience a Rocky Mountain Christmas the old fashioned way. 2023 will be our tenth year offering this at McGregor Mountain Lodge and our fifth year offering at Castle Mountain Lodge. It keeps getting better and better each and every year!

Spend 6 days and 5 nights in one of our cabins.  Check in on December 22 with a check out on December 27. Additional nights may be added. Want to bring your 4 legged family member? Dogs are allowed in select cabins for an additional $25/night per dog (2 doggies max). Let us know at the time of booking. **No check-ins on December 23rd.

Enjoy a cozy cabin in Estes Park and the Rocky Mountains at Castle Mountain Lodge. Enjoy our award winning Christmas Light display and on the 23rd, take a trip into the back country on a private 40 acre ranchette to pick out that perfect Christmas Tree. We’ll provide the saw, transportation, hot cocoa, donuts, and sleds for the excursion. Upon returning to the lodge, we’ll set your tree up in your cabin ready for you to decorate. We’ll also provide popcorn and cranberries so you can string your own decorations for your newly cut tree. Come on down to the lobby to partake in the stringing together, or we can bag up a kit for you to enjoy a more intimate family experience in your cabin. You will also get a commemorative ornament to kick off the decorating fun.

New: Santa will make a special visit for our kids on Christmas Eve at Castle Mountain Lodge between the hours of 4 and 6 pm by the courtyard adjacent our office.  Please bring your children down for meeting Santa, simple gifts, and photo ops capturing the spirit of the season.
