Ladies, Femme Trek is offering a 2 hour beginners snowshoeing tour on January 1, 2024 so you can start the first day of a new year trying something new and fun! Snowshoes, trekking poles, tutorial, and a hot drink are included!

This 2 hour tour in Rocky Mountain National Park is perfect if you’re moderately fit and a snowshoeing beginner.  We'll start the tour with a 15 minute snowshoeing tutorial where we'll show you how to use the gear and practice moving with it on. Please wear sturdy, waterproof hiking boots for snowshoeing. 

We'll snowshoe around Sprague Lake in RMNP and then through the peaceful, less traveled forest in Glacier Gorge whose rocks were cut by glaciers tens of thousands of years ago. The forest is filled with pristine pine and quaking aspen. It's difficult not to feel a sense of calm and peace in this environment. You can enjoy incredible mountain views from Sprague Lake without the chaos of being on the popular trails.
