Celebrating the season in a truly festive fashion, Visit Estes Park hosted a holiday-themed open house for residents and local businesses.

The designers from locally owned and operated retail shop, Simply Christmas, decorated the interior and exterior of the office using everything from sparkling lights to mini santas and reindeer, to towering custom-designed Christmas trees decked out in a Candyland theme.

Dressed in Victorian holiday attire, the Larimer Chorale sang traditional Christmas carols, while guests mingled with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. A highlight of the event included horse-drawn carriage rides by Bull Corp, which traveled from Visit Estes Park to the lakeside Dunraven Inn at Estes Park Resort.

The llamas stole the show. Guests snapped photos with twin llamas wearing fancy holiday necklaces courtesy of Lightning Ridge Llamas. Inside the party, guests sipped holiday-themed libations handcrafted by mixologist and author Brian Paiement, using spirits from Rambo’s Longhorn Liquor, and noshed on light bites by Jubilations Catering.

The staff and board at Visit Estes Park is grateful to all of the community members who helped host the party and wish all locals in Estes Park a very warm and joyful season. Flip through the photos below to take in the scene and cheers to the New Year!
