Come learn about climate change in our beloved park. The prospect of rapidly changing climate and landscapes should give us pause. Will our grandchildren see the same birds and wildflowers, play among the magnificent ponderosa, and hear and watch the bugling elk and chirping pika? We will spend a day in the field exploring how vulnerable nature is to a shifting climate. We’ll talk about management of Park resources in the face of such change. This seminar is designed to aid those with little to no background in science as well as those with an understanding of Park natural history to appreciate these big issues.
