When you vacation in Estes Park, you probably won’t be doing a lot of complaining, but wining is certainly an option! The village is home to Snowy Peaks Winery, crafting wines with hand-picked, Colorado-grown grapes. There is no doubt that a glass of wine is in order after a long day of shopping, sight-seeing, hiking, and other activities.

The Snowy Peaks Winery offers tastings as well as gourmet foods made by Colorado artisans that complement the wine selection. They also offer wine-related gift items. You can enjoy your wine with cheese, chocolate, jam or jelly in the tasting room with views of the Rockies, or take your purchase into the park for a picnic!

Snowy Peaks is celebrating their birthday in style with the SnowyGrass Bluegrass Festival. You can join the bash commemorating the 11th year on July 23rd from 1-5 pm at Baldwin Park. There will be wine, of course, along with live music from multiple groups. Enjoy the Big Thompson flowing through the park as the wine flows as well.

If you’re in town later in the summer, the Estes Park Wine Festival is held right in the heart of downtown. August 13th and 14th, Bond Park will be filled with food, vendors and live music all in the name of wining. Tickets can be purchased for $30 prior to the event and $35 at the door.
